The majority of subjects of the catalogue are on the sciences of the Qurʾān, the sciences of Ḥadīth, its terminology, jurisprudence and its origins, the science of the origins of religion uṣūl aldīn, Arabic language, history, logic, Sufism and a number of ijāzāt or permissions to teach.
The first volume was printed in Jerusalem in 1980. The second volume was published by the Foundation of Āl alBayt in Amman in 1983.
